2018 DECA SCDC

Since this was my second year of DECA, I signed up for different events as last year, with the exception of Financial Services Team Decision Making (FTDM). I also participated in Independent Business Plan (EIB) and Marketing Communications Series (MCS). While I had a lot of fun during the non-competition portions of SCDC, competing was stressful but extremely engaging. At the awards ceremony, my partner and I got called up for both FTDM and EIB. We had been hoping to get 3rd place for FTDM and 2nd place for EIB so we could qualify to ICDC. Rather, we get 2nd place in FTDM and 1st place in EIB! We were preparing extremely hard for EIB and were extremely happy to be representing Oregon with our business idea called NeoFlow.
